Bandstand Busking

So apparently there are a shit load of band stands in London that are rarely used anymore. Why hasn't anybody ever started getting awesome bands to play and document their performance. Well.........Bandstand Busking is a team of music lovers who had a simple but yet amazing idea to bring bands to band stands so that people can crowd around and drink some brews and listen to some good damn music. Here are some of my favorites.

So I started to go see Anya play little coffee shops in North Park and record stores in South Park when I was living in San Diego. She played about 30 minute sets with a few moments of awkward silence between songs, but her songs were ridiculously catchy, which is why I kept checkin out her music. She has indeed progressed from those coffee shops and her music has been on scenes of Grey's Anatomy and she's also played on David Letterman. If you haven't checked it out, her new album Slow and Steady Seduction was one of my favorites for 2009. Here is an awesome video and I gotta say, one of my favorite songs of 2009.....

The Death of Chris-Mas

So Chris is basically a maniac who like to throw himself into Chris-Mas trees to get a laugh. Gotta tell you, it worked like a charm. This video was filmed at Chris's Dad's house when he wasn't there. It's been sitting in his little the Calle vault for years. Now it is out and minimally edited for the viewing pleasure. Also a great video for anyone who still has their Chris-Mas tree up and are dreading throwing it away. An alternative method perhaps. Enjoy........

The Dori Lawrence Project

We got a new pup the other day and named it Dori. She is a Min Pin and a Jack Russell mix. Originally, I was making a small little video for my brother so he can see the pup. It progressed into a bunch of smaller clips as well and it all came down to THIS!
